"Jesus Christ in the Dura-Europos"

WHEN THE ANTICHRIST SITS IN THE REBUILT TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM, AND HAVING ALREADY INVADED AND TAKEN OVER THE VISIBLE CHURCH BEFORE THAT, HE WILL THEN CAUSE ALL WHO WILL NOT WORSHIP HIM TO BE KILLED. IT IS OUR DUTY TO CHRIST TO RESIST THIS NOW AND AT ALL TIMES TO THE DEATH, THAT IS OUR MARTYRDOM, RATHER THAN TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST (THE MARK THAT THE ANTICHRIST SEEKS TO IMPRESS ON MEN). THE MARK IS BOTH AN INVISIBLE MARK ON THE SOUL, AS WELL AS FINALLY, A PHYSICAL ONE. TAKING EITHER ONE WILL BE THE CERTAIN CAUSE OF ONE’S DAMNATION FOR ETERNITY.

"Jesus Christ in the Dura-Europos house churches"

The Dura Europos congregations were examples of the house churches that the church started out in and will greet her Lord Jesus Christ from when He returns from heaven at the end of this age at the time known to God alone.

"Dura-Europos" Town in Eastern Syria wherein were the small congregations of Christians indicative of the house churches that were the first congregations of the Christians throughout the world as the Apostles preached the Gospel.

Dura europos - is simply the house churches that the early Church met in. In each of these as the Didache (written 49 A.D.) tells us people selected their own bishops. St. Clement of Rome (Apostolic Father), in his epistle, tells us the same -- he rebuked a small group in Corinth for not honoring the bishop that the whole local congregation had selected.


The Church began in small house churches and she will great her Lord when He returns from the same with all the faithful in all the faithful churches of every size.
